VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Arts for Children and Youth services over 8,000 children and youth per year through inner-city schools, community centres, hospitals and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) buildings. Delivery of our programs is made possible through the generous support of our volunteers and student placements, whose contributions continue to make an impact on the communities we serve.

Volunteer placements are available on a casual, part-time basis, and may include the following opportunities:

  • Community Arts Assistants
  • School Arts Assistants
  • Communications & Development Assistant
  • Office Assistant
  • Exhibition & Installation Assistants
  • Documentary Photographers/Videographers
  • Website Assistant

If you see yourself in one of these roles and are able to make a 6-month to 1-year commitment, please make an application. Please download our current Volunteer Job Descriptions (PDF).

Volunteers: Volunteering with Arts for Children and Youth provides exciting, unique, and rewarding opportunities to lend your artistic skills to underserved children and youth in Toronto, to network with other artists and like-minded people, to serve the community – to make a difference. If you are interested in volunteering, please download our Volunteer Application Form (PDF).

Student Placements: Postsecondary schools that Arts for Children and Youth have worked with include Ryerson, York University and Humber College.
