ARTIST PROFILE

Pamela Schuller

Pamela Schuller is a mask and 3-D mural artist with 25 years experience in mask work, theatre, dance and puppetry.  She established Masque fifteen years ago to explore personal and community development through art with schools, communities families and individuals.

She has been awarded grants by both OAC and TAC to direct various school and community arts projects. The techniques of construction used in the projects offered, accommodate many levels of ability, and are therefore ideal for art projects with diverse communities.

Through the creation of art, Pamela encourages all participants to expand their vision and consider the works of art to be used as tools to expand a child’s oral communication, dramatic flair, written creativity and include issues of inclusiveness and social justice.

The process of learning and celebrating creativity opens doors within our minds, changing our perceptions and allowing for new possibilities.

AFCY Programs/Workshops: Mask making, Living Letters, 3-D mural mosaics, paper mache sculpture.
