ARTIST PROFILE

Alina Martiros

As an artist, arts educator, parent, activist, gardener and devotee of the Bruce Trail, learning from nature has been the cornerstone of my work in all media. Over the years I have pursued socially conscious and practical applications for art and have found a passion in arts education. My work takes me to schools across the GTA and grants me a unique perspective on their commonalities. I build my projects with the students around core concepts of sustainable and mindful living and how creativity informs every facet of our lives.
